Hello, hello! I’ve got a really chunky new card to share with you.
I can safely say that I don’t think I’ve ever made a card I love more than this one. Although truth be told I end up saying that about pretty much every card I make!

For this card I used the Giant Hey You stencil, the Big Angle Background stamp, and the Good Times Sentiments set; all from Ink Blot Shop.
To begin I laid the Giant Hey You stencil over my cardstock and did some ink blending over it. Without moving the stencil I wiped off the excess ink and spread a layer of clear glitter paste on top. I lifted the stencil off and let the cardstock dry.
I took the Big Angle Background stamp and, using embossing ink and clear embossing powder, used it to create a watermark style print on a piece of pink cardstock.

Next I layered my pink cardstock onto a piece of metallic cardstock and then added that to a white, A2 sized note card.
When my stenciled cardstock was dry I fussy cut all of the letters out. I went around the edges of each letter with a black marker and adhered strips of foam tape to the back of them.
After adding the letters to my card front I stamped and white heat embossed the “you’re awesome” sentiment from the Good Times Sentiments set onto black cardstock. I cut it into a strip and matted it onto metallic cardstock. Next I adhered a double layer of foam tape to the back of the strip before adding it between the “Hey” and “You” of my card.

This was so much fun to make and it’s definitely going to be worth the extra postage.
I hope you have a fantastic day and be sure to head over to the Ink Blot Shop site!
Until next time,
Samantha
