Hello, hello! I’ve got a brand spanking new Ink Blot Shop project to share with you!

For today’s card I used the *Zebra Print stencil and the Chunky Sentiments stamp set.

I started by creating a simple ink blended rainbow over the Zebra Print stencil. Then, keeping the stencil in place, I wiped off the excess ink and spread a clear glitter medium across it. I removed the stencil and allowed my card panel to dry before adding it to a white A2 sized card base.

I stamped the “You rock” sentiment from the Chunky Sentiments stamp set onto white cardstock and heat set it in gold. I stamped the “just sayin'” sentiment onto white cardstock. I matted “you” and “rock” on separate pieces of black cardstock and the “just sayin'” on a piece of gold foil cardstock.

I trimmed a piece of vellum to 3″ x 4.25″ and adhered my sentiments across it. I placed strong double sided tape to the back of the vellum behind the matted sentiments. After removing the tape backing I attached the vellum to my card front.

To finish the card off (and to hide a small flaw) I added a few adhesive backed gems.

I had such a fun time creating some rainbow sparkle goodness with this stencil and I love how well the sentiments I used paired with it. I can definitely see myself using this stencil for many different occasions and with all sorts of color combinations.
