Hello, hello! I’ve got a new card to share with you today for the current challenge over at the Clever Dexter blog.

This month’s theme is ‘Something New’, our optional color palette consists of white, blue, yellow, orange, and green, and our sponsor is Joy Clair Designs. Just a reminder that Joy Clair Designs is generously providing our challenge winner with two digital stamp sets!

For my card I used images from the Modern Duets digital stamp set from Joy Clair Designs.

I wanted to make a very clean and simple design. I began by coloring and cutting out one of the foliage images and created my sentiment strip with gold foil on black cardstock.

I cut a piece of white cardstock down to 3.75″ x 5″ and dry embossed it with a 3D embossing folder. I adhered it to the front of a white A2 sized card base and added my image and sentiment.

I’m really happy with how this card turned out and I hope it will help inspire you to create something fabulous.
