Hello, hello! I’ve got a new card to share with you today to usher in the latest Clever Dexter challenge! This month’s theme is “Something New” and the optional color palette consists of white, blue, yellow, orange, and green.

This month our sponsor is Joy Clair Designs who will be generously providing two sets of her digital stamps to a lucky winner!

For my card I used the Floral Catcher digital stamp set from Joy Clair Designs. At first I was just going to do some basic coloring but instead decided to get a bit more creative with one of the images.

I meticulously cut each and every little opening of the heart out using an X-Acto knife before adding it to a shaker frame. I die cut the sentiment “enjoy today” out using a banner die and layered it over the center of the heart.
