Hello, hello! Samantha back with another card that I created for the newest challenge over at the Clever Dexter blog.
This month’s optional color palette is peach, apricot, sage, gold, and yellow. The theme is “Hello Summer”.
To begin I colored this cute little squid in using Spectrum Noir Triblend markers.
Using a stitched rectangle die from Gina Marie Designs I die cut a piece of patterned paper from the ‘A Perfect Summer’ 6×6 paper pad by Echo Park. I matted two pieces of blue cardstock to one another and added them on top of my patterned paper before adding the entire thing to a blue A2 sized note card.
I used a circle die from the Waffle Flower Nesting Circles Die set to cut out my sentiment and also cut out a same sized circle from orange cardstock. I offset my sentiment circle over this and added it to the lower right of the card.
Next I applied foam tape behind my squid and added him to the upper left of the card. To finish it off I applied three clear gems to look like bubbles.
Be sure to head on over to the Clever Dexter blog and enter the latest challenge. I can’t wait to see you over there!
Until next time,
