Hello, hello! I’m so happy to share my guest design for the latest challenge over at the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers blog; K is for Krafty!

To begin I applied a 1.5″ strip of purple tape as a mask to a 4″x 5.25″ kraft panel. I stamped the largest image from my number one favorite stamp set, the Sketched Flowers set by Simon Says Stamp, over it and heat embossed it in gold.

Using Arteza colored pencils I colored in the image and removed my mask.

Now onto the snark! I used the Jail Time sentiment stamp from Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps in the center of the masked area. I added thin strips of black cardstock to frame the masked area as my sentiment was looking a bit lost.
I matted my panel to a piece of mustard yellow cardstock and adhered the whole thing to an A2 sized kraft note card. Finally I applied a few clear gems for added interest.

Thanks so much for stopping by and be sure to head on over to the SOSS blog! You never know, you just may be the next Queen of Snark!
Until next time,
Samantha Ziegenfuß

Sounds like a reasonable quote, I don’t look good in orange or horizontal stripes. Lovely stamp and colours. thanks for joining us as our Queen of snark.
