My Punny Valentine

For my card today I decided to use an older stamp set from Simon Says Stamp called Foodie Friends. It works beautifully with all the gorgeous, high quality cardstock from CutCardStock.

I began by stamping the typewriter from the set to a piece of 4″ x 5.25″ Discount Cardstock in Textured Indigo Blue using Versamark Watermark ink and heat setting with white embossing powder. I adhered that to an A2 sized card I created using Classic Crest Cardstock in Solar White. This is by far my favorite white cardstock.

I created a simple watercolor panel measuring 3″ x 4.25″. When it was dry I spritzed it with water and tapped on a bit of white paint to get a really cool galaxy effect. Then when it was dry once more I adhered it to the center of my card.

I stamped my typewriter and sentiment to a scrap piece of Classic Crest Solar White Cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored my typewriter in using shades of blue and green, fussy cut it out, and attached it to my watercolored panel with foam squares. I cut the sentiment strip into a banner shape and adhered that below the typewriter. Finally I added a few puffy heart stickers.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Until next time,

Samantha
