I have been wanting the Everything Together stamp set from Simon Says Stamp for quite some time now. It finally went on sale (plus I had a coupon!) so I snatched that bad boy up like my landlord on a nickel 😆

I stamped the large sentiment on Neenah Solar White 110lb using Versafine in Onyx Black and heat set it with clear embossing powder. Then I fussy cut it out.

I stamped the smaller images from the stamp set to my card in Versamark Watermark ink, heat setting them in white embossing powder.

I masked about .5″ around the entire border of the card and did some ink blending using Spun Sugar, Worn Lipstick, and Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide inks. I spritzed the card front with water and used a paper towel to soak up the excess.

When the card was dry I popped the sentiment up on foam dots and stuck it to the card front.

But that’s not all. Oh no, that is not all.

This very pretty, very sweet sentiment was just a little too pretty and a little too sweet for my taste. Enter Franz.

Using my snark loving machine I typed out my interior sentiment. I adhered the sentiment strips to thin copy paper and then trimmed them down to a smaller size. My label maker prints on .5″ wide tape and I often don’t want a bunch of .5″ wide sentiment strips. It’s difficult to trim .5″ wide strips down by themselves so by sticking them to the copy paper I have an easier time with the trimming.
