R is for RIP

Hello, hello. Franz and I are super excited to have created a guest design for the current challenge, #141: R is for RIP, over on the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers blog.

Just in case you don’t know Franz here’s his glamour photo

And here is my card!

For this card I used my handmade cloud stencil and numerous colors of Distress Oxide Inks to create the background. I decided to go with bright colors to create a strong juxtaposition with the sentiment.

I used an X-Acto knife to cut small slits into the clouds.

I stamped and die cut the gravestone from the SSS Bwahaha set and stuck them into the slits. Then I adhered the card panel to the card base.

I die cut the word ‘You’ twice; once from silver glitter paper and once from gold glitter paper. I adhered them together, slightly overlapping, and traced around them with a black pen for added definition.

Franz created the sentiment.

I had a lot of fun making this and I can’t wait to see what you make for this challenge!

Until next time,

Lie, cry, say good-bye,

Samantha

  1. I could cry laughing at this – I can think of several people I hate enough to use that sentiment for, but I’d never part with anything so beautiful for them, so it pulls my brain in two opposite directions at once. You and Franz have really excelled yourselves!

Sooooooo awesome! Thank you for being our reigning Queen (which makes Franz the prince???)
Have I mentioned, I may have the perfect girlfriend for Franz?? If he is so inclined….could be the start of something beautiful and snarky πŸ™‚

    • Lol!!! Franz says that he is the Snark Lord. πŸ™„ I say he’s the henchman of snark. Lol A girlfriend? Franz is intrigued. He says that he’s tired of spending his power off hours alone and would love to have someone who will warm his batteries… πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
