Blank Page Muse Blog Hop

Hello, hello! Thanks so much for stopping by. Today I’ve got a “mermazing” card and a beautiful vintage style mini album to share with you.

This card was created using the brand spanking new Kai Lana and Friends stamp set by Stephanie Eaton from Blank Page Muse.

I absolutely love this beautiful full figured mermaid stamp! It’s amazing seeing something other than the thin, slender mermaids that are usually on stamps.

Here’s my card:

I stamped, colored, and masked the mermaid, jellyfish, and starfish stamps. I applied a wave stencil over the masked images and did some simple ink blending.

Next I stamped the bubble stamps from the set and heat set them using gold embossing powder.

I stamped the seaweed images onto a couple shades of green cardstock, fussy cut them out, and adhered them to the card.

I stamped the sentiment and heat set with white embossing powder, cut out and glued to the card.

I finished by adding it to a black card base.

My second project used the new Vintage Scents Perfume Ephemera stamp set. These are such beautiful, intricate stamps. It continually knocks my socks off to see the amazing details you can get from rubber stamps.

I made a mini mini album. I unfortunately cannot give directions as I made this from the top of my head. Ideas were flooding my mind and I didn’t stop to write anything down. The closed, finished album measures 4.5″ x 4.5″ and contains some dear family photos.

Be sure to join in on the fun over at the Blank Page Muse Stamps Fan Group on Facebook where we now have fan art Fridays 😊 I can’t wait to see what you will make with your Blank Page Muse Stamps!
