Hope Your Day is Amazing

Hello, hello! Today I’m going to be sharing this fantabulous card with you and the details on how I made it!

How lucky are you?!?!

Here she is!

“hope your day is amazing”

My coworker commissioned me to make a dozen birthday cards for her. So far I’ve got nine made. Only three more to go.

For this bad boy I used the Altenew Hope stamp set. Not only did I get this stamp set on sale, I also got it when Altenew had free shipping! ๐Ÿ˜ฎ Ka-ching!!! I make it a rule to never, ever, ever pay full price for any craft supplies. Aside from the rare exception here and there, of course.

I cut out a white panel at 3.75″ x 5″ and temporarily adhered it to my white A2 card base.

Then I got to stamping. For the flowers I used Memento in Dandelion followed by Distress Ink in Mustard Seed, followed by Memento in Cantaloupe, and finished with Memento in Tangelo.

For the centers I just used Memento in Tuxedo Black. I masked my flowers using full adhesive backed Post It notes (if you haven’t tried them I highly recommend that you do) and stamped the leaves. I honestly don’t remember which inks I used. I messed up a bit but oh well.

I broke the seal between the panel and the card base. I stamped the sentiment to the panel in Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

Next I adhered a 3.5″ x 4.75″ piece of craft foam behind the panel before affixing that to the card base.

I finished the card by adding little droplets of Nuvo Crystal Drops in Dandelion Yellow.

I hope that you’ll like my card but if you don’t I guess that that’s your problem ๐Ÿ˜‚

Have an awesome sauce day!

Until next time,

Bees, fleas, Arctic freeze,

Samantha
