Hello, hello!
Samantha here with my card that I created for the new challenge over at The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers’ blog: N is for Nerd!
My inspiration came, as it usually does, from the internet. I searched “funny nerd memes” until I found just what I was looking for.

For this card I used the Lawn Fawn Screen Time stamp set, the small Birch Press Sugar Script ‘You’ die, Distress Oxide inks, Versamark Watermark ink, and, as always, Franz.
Franz is a Dymo LetraTag and my favorite foul mouthed crafting buddy.
First I stamped, colored, and masked the screen and video game console from the Lawn Fawn Screen Time stamp set along with one of the cables. (For stamp masking I’ve been using these awesome full sticky backed Post It notes! They’re amazeballs!)
After that I used Cracked Pistachio, Mustard Seed, and Broken China Distress Oxide inks to create a really simple ink blended background.
I cut out the word ‘you’ using the small Birch Press Sugar Script You die 3 times, stacking them together to get some height.
I used Versamark Watermark ink and Ranger Clear embossing powder over the top die cut for a beautiful, smooth finish.
Then it was time for Franz to come out and play.
I trimmed the label tape down, adhered it to the right of the word ‘you’, and added definition by tracing around the sentiment strips with a Sakura Pigma Micron pen.
That’s it. I hope you’ll like my card but Franz said to tell you that he doesn’t care what you think. Someone needs a nap and a nice AA battery.
