Live, Laugh, Snark

Hello, hello! Over at The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers there are still two days to enter your snarky card for the O is for Ombre challenge.

I’ve decided that I want to create a new card series entitled “Live, Laugh, Snark”. Have you seen that phrase “live, love, laugh /live, laugh, love” plastered on everything from

picture frames

To underwear

To insulated wine mugs

To pill holders?

I say enough is enough. I present to you not only my second entry for the SoSS O is for Ombre Challenge but also the first card in a series I’m calling “Live, Laugh, Snark”.

Behold mine card and see that it doth fill thine heart with the snark!!! 🀣 (I have no doubt that I just butchered King James Bible English 🀣)

For this card I used Distress Ink in Picked Raspberry, blending downward into the darker pinky purple shade of Seedless Preserves. I adore the gradient effect of these together.

I used the Block Party Alphas stamp set from The Ink Road, stamped in Versafine Onyx Black and heat embossed in Ranger Clear embossing powder. I also added a few gems. (Mostly to hide a tiny dot of paint that splattered while I was working on a watercolor panel 🀣) Oh, and also a sentiment I made with my new label maker, Franz.

Be sure to head on over to The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers blog!

Until next time,

Love, peace, and monkey grease (gotta mix it up a little. The chickens get tired!),

Samantha

  1. You’ve taken a cheesy sentiment and made it wonderfully snarky, great work! I love your label machine’s name. And aren’t gems just perfect for turning bloopers into beauty spots? Brilliant work, thanks for finding your spiritual home with us.

  2. Now I really am convinced you’ve found your people – this is a MUCH better mantra! Clean, simple, ombrΓ© and snarky, what could be better? Thanks for joining us again at the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers!
