Hi, friends! Today I’m going to show you how I made this masculine birthday card.

This has become my go to design got masculine cards. This design is one that was very much inspired by a card by Amy Kolling which you can see here.
First I started by cutting a piece of brown cardstock at 4″x 5.5″ and then I dry embossed it using an embossing folder I got from Michael’s.

I just love the way this looks!
Next I used patterned paper from the DCWV Linen Closet paper stack and stitched circle dies to cut out a whole bunch of circles. I will save the extras for other cards.

Circle dies 😍
I play around with the layout and try to find a look that I like.

Next I use dies from this awesome set to cut out ‘Happy Birthday’ from fun foam and gold mirrored cardstock

This is such a great die set!
I start out by painstakingly gluing each little foam letter to the card. The banner I added helps me get them lined up nice and straight

This will help the sentiment really stand out
I finish the card off with the gold letters and a few blue enamel dots.

That’s it. An easy masculine card with a versatile design.
Thank you so much for stopping by!
